This will improve your gut health, deliciously

Last Updated on February 20, 2023 by Michelle

It’s no secret. I’m that crazy kombucha lady.

Y’all know I love kombucha. I sure have written enough about it… from my Lilac Blueberry kombucha to my second ferment made with roses and berries. From a cost analysis of what it costs me to make every 1/2 gallon I brew, to this crazy thing I do with my vinegary kombucha.

But today I have a treat for you, if you want to know more about this amazingly delicious way to improve your gut health.

Today, instead of writing all about this delicious stuff, how I make it, and why I love it, well, today I’m talking about it…

I spilled the beans about a perfect cup of kombucha.

Today I met up with Nicole, at Heritage Acres Market, and we talked non-stop about everything kombucha. Listen in here.

• I explain why I never use refined sugar in my kombucha, what I use instead, and why.

• I explain why I have 2 1-gallon jars of vinegary kombucha in my root cellar right now and what the heck I do with it.

• I explain why I always have at least one batch brew in the works at all times, along with my 4-gallon continuous brew.

• I fill you in on my secret for keeping my kombucha the perfect temperature at all times (even in my drafty old farmhouse during a long New England winter), using something you have in your home right now.

I even share a deep, dark secret about my hubby and my scoby that I’ve never told anywhere else…

This is how I make my DIY kombucha.

Here are detailed answers to some common questions I get:
