  1. This was incredibly timely. I finished our homeschooling day stressed. I looked at my husband and said “I think I’m failing our oldest son. Maybe he should be in school.” And I meant it. What if I failed him? What if he doesn’t ever GET it? We’ve been homeschooling since day 1 and I’ve never felt so defeated. Thank you for sharing your inspiration. God speaks through you.

    1. Awww, Mandy you absolutely made my night… to know that I could encourage you today truly makes me smile. Trust me, I’ve been there. For 20 years of homeschooling 4 daughters I had so many days where I genuinely thought they may be better off if I give up the battle and stop failing at teaching them… I’m so thankful that I eventually learned we truly can be the best parents (& the best teachers) in the midst of our failures. There is no one else out there who will ever care as much about your son’s success as you do–on your worst days that are riddled with failure. ❤️

  2. I just told my husband tonight I feel like I’m failing with our kids every single day. Really having a tough time with the 14 and 12 year olds. We also have 4 girls and just started homesteading! We were looking for a house with some land, but ended up with 55 undeveloped acres and 2 RVs🤦😂😭.

Good thing God’s power is made perfect in weakness because I feel like I’m nailing the weakness part!
