Can I order directly from a food supplier?

Chefs who own a restaurant go to food suppliers to order their food in bulk. Grocery stores stock their shelves using multiple food suppliers.

But there isn’t an option to have high-quality pantry supplies shipped to your home, in family-size bulk orders, is there? There isn’t a way to eliminate the middle man and go directly to the supplier (for those things you can’t buy directly from your local farmer), is there?

That’s what I used to think.

But Azure Standard is doing something new. This family-owned company saw a broken model of food production in the U.S. and got to work creating a better option.

A Few of My Favorites to Purchase from Azure Standard

I use avocado oil for almost everything in my kitchen, it’s extremely versatile, has the highest smoke point of all oils, and is my favorite fat to cook with, after lard. Period.

We eat a LOT of this organic popcorn…best snack ever. Especially this gorgeous multi-colored popcorn that’s loaded with 2.5 times the antioxidants of plain yellow corn. Ummm, yes, please!

Basmati rice is the only rice I buy. It’s rich in all 8 essential amino acids and folic acid and has a nutty aroma and fluffy texture.

Hard white wheat berries are great for bread flour. (See below for my grain mill.)

This organic, all-purposed, unbleached flour is as good as you’ll get if you aren’t milling it yourself.

When I learned about the chemicals used on the sugar cane fields during harvest I decided if all our sugar couldn’t be all-natural and unrefined, it had to at least be organic. This is the best price for a good sugar.

Sourced from world-renowned orchards, the organic vanilla beans make this a flavorful vanilla that will become your favorite.

These crushed cacao beans are rich, chocolatey, and loaded with nutrients and powerful plant compounds. I love them in smoothies and shakes, or in cookies along with chocolate chips.

Date syrup is an organic, all-natural alternative to the highly refined option of molasses, it’s lower on the glycemic index & it tastes like caramel! I love it in drinks (think Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate)

Coconut sugar is one of my all-time favorite sweeteners. It’s completely all-natural and offers deep hints of caramel. I feel I need to clarify that coconut sugar tastes nothing like coconut.

I use nutritional yeast liberally and often in my kitchen. It completely replaced processed parmesan cheese a while ago and I have never looked back.

The large golden crystals of this amazing sugar make it my go-to for special baked goods, for wonderful bursts of sweetness in every bite (especially when I’m using fresh milled flour)
