Masala Chai Tea Blend
Ingredients
1/3
cup
black tea blend*
1/8
cup
cinnamon chunks
1
teaspoon
black peppercorns,
slightly crushed
1
teaspoon
dried ginger root
1
teaspoon
green cardamom pods,
crushed slightly
1/2
teaspoon
whole cloves
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a jar, and shake to combine.
Use as desired to make masala chai tea lattes. For a flavorful cup of tea, I use 1 tablespoon of this blend per cup.
Notes
*My
black tea blend
is a 3-1 ratio of Assam to Nilgiri. Just Assam can be used as a substitute, or your favorite black tea.
