Masala Chai Tea Blend

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup black tea blend*
  • 1/8 cup cinnamon chunks
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, slightly crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon green cardamom pods, crushed slightly
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a jar, and shake to combine.
  • Use as desired to make masala chai tea lattes. For a flavorful cup of tea, I use 1 tablespoon of this blend per cup.

Notes

*My black tea blend is a 3-1 ratio of Assam to Nilgiri. Just Assam can be used as a substitute, or your favorite black tea.
