Actually, yes! Well, officially in the tropics, they lance the bloom of the palm tree and make delicious syrup. But I&#039;ve talked with many folks in the PNW and in the US south who have successfully tapped when there is extreme weather fluctuations (noticed on the barometer), during the right windows of the year.]]></description>

I have made molasses with my father many times and have precious memories of those times, I only wish he was here with me now to probably take on something new to us in tapping Maples cause it’s one of the few things we never got to attempt on our farm.]]></description>

With no other pecan trees within pollinating distance, I cannot get yummy pecans from it.
