Ahhhh, Tina, you have chosen my 3 all-time favorites. 🙂 YES I sub coconut sugar for both brown AND white sugar all the time. It’s the only granulated sugar I use. (I do still buy organic cane sugar for my husband’s iced tea and my kombucha, but that’s it.) So in a recipe that calls for both brown and white sugars I use all coconut sugar and it’s delicious. I have personally made the switch to coconut sugar (along side using honey and maple syrup for baking). Still trying to get my family on board.
Can you substitute coconut sugar for brown sugar in recipes? Or just use it to sub for white sugar?
