Oh Mandy, I can’t imagine your loss. Did your pastor leave a family behind? I mean besides his CHURCH family… oh so sad. I’m glad my writing brought you some tears. I find the tears help a little, at least for me. And indeed not only is there hope with God, but there would be NO hope without Him. I pray you (and your congregation) find joy this Christmas, as well as hope.

Last year, we lost our pastor right before Christmas. It was sudden and unexpected. He was part of our family. I thought I was doing ok until I realized my excitement for the holidays this year isn’t coming. Tears roll down my face as I read this blog. Grief is hard. But with God, there is hope.
