Boy, can I relate to this! A few weeks ago we took our daughter to the airport where she would take her first flight all the way to Ireland where she would study for 6 weeks. I’d been praying about that moment for months and trusted God to take care of her, but I still cried as we left the airport. My husband didn’t understand my tears, but I tried to explain to him that our little girl had just flown away. When she returned she would be a young woman comfortable with traveling the world and with amazing new experiences. She’d never be the same. I agree with you, and also try to encourage homeschool parents not to worry so much. I worried, too, but now looking back, I can see that it isn’t the information that is packed into them, it’s the time spent with them, and that they’re allowed to pursue their own interests. It prepares them like nothing else can.

Amen. Beautiful post. And as a mother of 2 who now have children of their own and look back at all my worries. Those worries didn't change one darn thing! Wise words, my friend!
