The butcher our friend uses also makes the most amazing bratwurst and bacon. So worth an extra $1/pound

Funny, I’m still not sure we’re “ready” for the undertaking… always a difficulty or set back every year, but it’s so worth it in the long run… and such a blessing that we can raise so many pigs for other families as well.

While I wish we had the know-how to do it, we definitely do not. But I’m so thankful to have an amazing butcher (now friend as well) who comes to our farm and does a great job
