In reply to Krissy. I’m wondering the same thing! I’m in West Tennessee an I don’t know of any trees to tap around here. I know that my river birch has sap because it trips all over my car but I thought that the birches aren’t very flavorful..

Yummy! About how much maple syrup would you start with in this process? Now to replace my old mixer. I'll have to wait to try making maple sugar, but I'm thankful to know how.
