Even if I had a farm or small homestead, I wouldn’t grow them all, esp things I only occasionally use. I grow and process a lot already in my urban garden (front and side yards, corner lot) and came to a realization that just couldn’t possibly grow it all, even if space allows. I am already taking on too much. I always tell people to grow what you can (given the available space) and start with the things you use the most or love visually in the available space. Source the rest.
