I love walking our property and find the old bottles and other finds. We always bring them home and clean them up. Treasures. Found you on Simple Homestead Hop.

I have a soft spot for old bottles as well. We found many in our adventures living on my husband’s family farm in the midwest. I’m glad to know I”m not the only one who sees a story in every bottle! Love your idea for plant waterers.

We found an old dump on our property in Hudson. I found lots of wonderful old bottles too. Plus pieces of pottery and the odd piece of silverware. My favorite was always the milk bottles. Many of them became vases for me. Love the idea of using them to water your containers.
