We have a press but I like this better. I am always afraid of breaking the glass in our coffee press when I make it. I like the fact that this does not have any plastic either. I will look into one of these too. You have some great suggestions. Thanks

French press is a great option! Moka pots also come in all sizes, so if you grab a larger one it makes a good, solid cup of strong coffee that you can add milk or cream to, and drink like that!

I don't drink expresso (or coffee, for that matter), but my husband does and I worry about the mold in our really old Kcup machine. Is there a version of this pot for brewing just a good, non-toxic coffee one cup at a time? Or just a French press? (Shows what I know...) Thanks.

I appreciate your detailed explanation of a moka pot- I had no idea how easy this is to use, and I bet my husband would really enjoy it. I also like that you listed pros and cons of each. Thanks!

A moka pot is on my wishlist. We do still have our Keurig. Not sure I can convince my husband to give that up given it’s his desired convenience with a 2:20am wake up time 4 days a week. We do often use the reusable pods. Also, homemade cold brew and have a Bodum pour over and a French Press.
