I grow chicory for coffee too! But I use root chicory (like this: https://www.growitalian.com/products/root-chicory-cicoria-di-chiavari-40-14?variant=49642298343729) as it’s a bit easier for me to process! Someday I’ll grow enough for the whole year!

I’m not much of a coffee person but would love to see if my husband would enjoy chicory coffee. Would chickens also enjoy the greens?

Loved this article! I absolutely love mixing chicory with coffee. I don’t love the coffee taste so mixing chicory root with a yummy creamer elevates coffee for me! I live in Missouri so I’m excited to see if I can grow this for sure!
