Those kittens and bunnies are too cute! I have to admit I miss the rabbits my daughter raised years ago, and I miss the fertilizer for my garden. Several of us have mentioned that we need to clean the chicken coop, LOL! God created us to work, so you’re right about all the work that has to be done around the homestead, but it’s deeply satisfying. Those apples probably taste better than anything you’d buy in the store, too. That’s one thing about organic gardening that you have to get used to, not everything looking picture-perfect. You still made them that way, though.

We were expecting our first frost later this week but had a surprise light frost this morning! Fortunately I had most of the work done, and also fortunately my herb plants survived.
